Friday, May 1 2009, 10:00 AM, Church Women United (CWU) meets at Palmdale United Methodist Church.
This is our May Friendship Day Gathering. We will look at past, present and future and look at our own lives in the same way. We will also announce our scholarship recipients and our recipient of the Valiant Woman Award.
In addition, we will learn of the work of Valley Oasis, an organization that helps parents and children find stability, care and protection from abusive situations. Pot luck to follow. Child care available. Come out and meet other Christian women in the valley.
