Kirk O’ The Valley Presbyterian Church in Reseda invites you to “Slavic Spring Celebration” on April 26, 2009 at 6:00 PM. Performing will be Zhena Folk Chorus which is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of women’s Slavic folk music, Soul of Anatolia a group of Turkish musicians and Zeljko Marasovich, the music director of Kirk O’ The Valley, who will premier his original composition based on Croatian folk songs. Church Women United
Friday, May 1 2009, 10:00 AM, Church Women United (CWU) meets at Palmdale United Methodist Church. This is our May Friendship Day Gathering. We will look at past, present and future and look at our own lives in the same way. We will also announce our scholarship recipients and our recipient of the Valiant Woman Award.
